Hi David, yes I did mean the road springs as when one broke on the Eos it did make the roof system rattle badly. I think that lubricating the rubbers allows the roof to "move" allowing it to move smoothly. I do get an occasional rattle from the wind deflector on my Z4 but I can reach behind me and touch it to stop it happening. Tony.
